The Flat Blog...
Welcome! And well, another section... this is my blog and that's all :D
Okay, so I'll be sharing things about my life in general, things that make me angry or happy, or things I just want to share. I chose mint green for this section because I think it'll be the most active, andd mint is my favorite color ALSO.
I'm mainly going to use it to vent and complain about everything, so yeah

Okay. Officially, I'll start university classes on August 8th (for now). Even though I'm in my last year of high school, I enrolled in a program to get ahead in my university studies. ^^ Anyway, it's just one subject; I enrolled in the Bachelor's degree in Social Communication, so I'll be taking Academic Reading and Writing
I'm really excited, so I hope I do well and can have one subject completed by the time I start university full-time

I remembered a cool habit I have in TF2: sometimes when I get killed, the "killcam" shots (or whatever you want to call them) turn out incredibly photogenic. Sometimes they even look like MOVIE POSTERS I SWEAR
So I thought I'd create another section to compile these epic photos. You'll probably see it around in the next few days

Well, today was a day of much reflection because of the 11th anniversary of the "Ni Una Menos" (Not One Less) movement, which fights for a society with real and fair equality between men and women. Unfortunately, June 3rd was a very sad day here in Argentina because we have a state that denies the concept of femicide (I'm not sure if it has an English translation, so without translating it would be "femicidio") and promotes a rather backward and, specifically regarding this issue, sexist society. Furthermore, a femicide occurred recently, that of a 14-year-old girl who was kidnapped and murdered by an adult man, I believe he's around 30. This exposed this sexist society, with the media criticizing the girl for everything from her clothing to where she chose to go dancing, instead of criticizing the man who murdered a minor. Among many other things, to give you an idea of the contempt for life: the prosecutor in the case, in one of his statements, began congratulating the search dogs that had found the body of Agostina, the murdered girl, and then said that they deserved a medal, giving a horrifyingly graphic description of why. A disturbing situation that, luckily, a woman, I believe a journalist, brought to an end by exposing the perverse comments the prosecutor was making. I personally am very conflicted about all issues related to gender and diversity. Because I honestly don't belong to any minority group; that is, I'm a white, heterosexual man (or I don't know yet). Perhaps I could consider myself a bit of a twink, but I still need to work out that. I want to learn how to do my makeup, wear earrings, paint my nails, among other things that are considered (well, speaking in a retrograde way) "feminine." Even before I start doing these things, I am very careful that my attitudes do not promote sexism or other types of hatred.

I started making a video edit with the song "Revolution 1993" by Jamiroquai and some other videos. I'm treating it as a personal project because it's been a really long time since I've done anything "artistic." I mean, I'm feeling a bit down about that; I feel like I can't think of anything. So I'm going to treat this video as a project, and I'd like to finish it, obviously making sure it's really polished and everything.
...Time skip (this is the early morning of the 15th, smt like a mini-blog)
I made this Smash Mouth stamp ^^

Well, today was a weird day, I'd say. All my friends were absent from school because they were sick (probably an infection I gave them :D, but I got over it two days ago), so I was pretty bored. Luckily, there was an event today to give an award to a Mother of Plaza de Mayo (women whose children disappeared during the last dictatorship here in Argentina). I was really looking forward to hearing her speak, and it was a lovely event. Some very beautiful things were said, and of course, they also talked about the current situation here. Ugh, after that, I had some free time and left :P. It was a lame day because nothing important happened. Well, I went to the psychologist, and it was a really nice session. I won't talk about it, but it's always good to go (if you're thinking about going to a psychologist, I recommend it; it's NOT a sign of being unwell, it's a way to let go of all the baggage we carry).
What else? Well, after that I spent all afternoon styling this page, I added that stamp bar that I LOVE :D and I'm proud of how it turned out. I feel really good about this "project" and I'm going to keep working on it in the future. I need ideas for sections; I thought of something like "interesting websites" or something like that, but I'm not sure yet.
Mmm, I'd also like to do that thing about adding "web neighbors"? Well, I don't remember the exact name, but if I know people here on Neocities who have websites, I'd like to add them as recommended sites :D
And that reminds me that I also want to make a comments section, hmmm maybe something like the comments on Steam profiles? I think that would be fun, I need to find a tutorial for that lol.
